Jeanette Vertentes is a contemporary painter based in North Stonington, Connecticut, celebrated for her bold use of colour and dynamic compositions. Surrounded by the sea, gardens, and her dogs, she draws inspiration from the landscapes and natural beauty of her home. Working on a large scale, Jeanette creates vibrant seascapes, floral still lifes, animals, and farm scenes that radiate energy and movement. Trained from a young age under painter John Lutes, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting from Rhode Island College. Today, her work is sought after worldwide through commissions, exhibitions, and leading art shows across the United States.
