Print & Frame Details

Our art prints are custom printed on FSC-certified 230gsm white matte paper. We offer a wide range of sizes. Choose from an unframed print or a framed, ready-to-hang option.

We provide high-quality, Australian-made frames for our paper print collection. The frames are crafted from FSC-certified sustainably sourced timber and come in four beautiful finishes: natural raw oak, white, black smooth, or black grain.

The frame profile is approximately 20mm wide, and the depth is 40mm for the black and white frames, and 30mm for the oak frame. Each framed print is professionally printed, mounted, and sealed into its frame.

For durability and safety, we use premium shatterproof acrylic plexiglass instead of glass. This crystal clear material resists breaking during transit. Your framed artwork will arrive with a hanging wire and sturdy D-ring hangers already attached, so you can display it immediately upon delivery.

See examples below of our framing options:

White Borders

Select the perfect look for your art - with or without a classic white border.

White Border: Choosing this option means there will be an unprinted white margin around the artwork. This border is included in the overall print size, so the actual artwork area will be slightly smaller. You can see the exact border widths for each size in our Size Guide.

No White Border: This option provides an edge-to-edge print, with the artwork extending to the very edge of the paper.

If you plan to use your own frame, please check the inner window measurement to ensure it fits our print. If you have any questions, our customer care team is here to help.

The Print Emporium

The Print Emporium

The Print Emporium was founded in Melbourne in 2016 by Creative Director Zoe Bristow, after a decade in interiors, fashion and design across Melbourne, Sydney, Austria, Switzerland and the UK. Zoe photographs much of the collection herself — Santorini and Mykonos, the Amalfi Coast and Positano, Byron Bay. Alongside her photography sit hand-painted reproductions, framed art prints and ready-to-hang canvas, every piece made locally and to order. Trusted by 35,000+ customers, featured on The Block and Love It Or List It, and specified by interior stylists, decorators and hotels.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my print take to arrive?

Unframed art prints typically ship from our Melbourne warehouse within 1–3 business days. For framed prints, please allow 1–2 weeks for printing and framing, plus delivery time — a little longer during peak seasons and promotions. Every order includes tracking.

Do I need to frame an art print?

Not necessarily. Choose an unframed print, which arrives rolled in a protective mailer tube, or a framed, ready-to-hang option. Our Australian-made frames come in natural raw oak, white, black smooth or black grain, and arrive with the hanging wire and D-ring hangers already attached.

What if it arrives damaged?

We remake it free. If your artwork arrives damaged or faulty, contact our team with a photo and we will remake and send you a new one at no cost. As every piece is made to order, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind.

Can I see it in my room first?

Yes — use the View in your room button on the product image to preview the artwork at true scale on your own wall before you buy.

Production & Shipping

All orders are custom-made and prepared with care. Please note that product colours may vary slightly due to differences in screen settings, lighting and calibration. We strive for complete accuracy, but if you have any concerns, please contact our customer service team. Your satisfaction is our utmost priority.

Unframed art prints typically ship from our Melbourne warehouse within 1-3 business days. For framed items, please allow 1-2 weeks for printing and framing. Please note that this may be longer during peak seasons or promotional periods.

We can ship unframed prints to PO boxes and parcel lockers. Framed prints require a signature on delivery, so they can only be sent to a street address. Our largest framed sizes, 75x100cm and A0, travel by courier.

Enjoy free Australian shipping on orders $149+. For smaller orders, shipping is calculated at checkout by weight and destination, starting at $7.95 for unframed prints. You'll see the final cost clearly before you pay. Every order includes tracking for your peace of mind.

NEW ZEALAND AND INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We offer a flat shipping rate of $15 AUD on all unframed prints to New Zealand and international destinations. Your print will be carefully rolled and shipped in a sturdy mailer tube via Australia Post International Air Mail.

Warranty & Returns

Every artwork is carefully packed in sturdy, purpose-made packaging so it arrives in perfect condition.

Arrives safe or we remake it free. If your artwork arrives damaged or faulty, or is significantly different from its description, simply contact our team with a photo and we'll remake and send you a new one at no cost.

As every piece is made to order, we're unable to offer refunds for change of mind.

For full details, please see our Returns  policy.

How Do I Hang This Print?

Each framed print comes with a pre-attached hanging wire on the back for easy display. For safe transit, your artwork is carefully packaged in a thick, protective carton box.

If you choose an unframed print, it will arrive rolled in a protective mailer tube. To prepare it for framing, we recommend carefully unrolling the print onto a clean, flat surface. You can place a clean sheet or cloth over the print and weigh it down with books or other heavy flat objects. The print should flatten out and be ready for framing within a day or two.

For best results, we suggest using a frame where the print sits flush against the glass or having it professionally mounted.

About us - an image of our founder Zoe Bristow - director of The Print Emporium brand Australia

FOUNDER

Behind The Brand

I started The Print Emporium in 2016, after a decade in fashion, textiles and interior design across Melbourne, Sydney and the UK. I wanted wall art that felt considered and well made, but was still something you could actually afford to hang.

Every piece is printed and framed here in Australia, made to order. A lot of the photography is mine — taken on trips, and hanging on my own walls before it ever reached the shop.

— Zoe Bristow, Founder
